Installation of RFID chips on packaging pallet labels of glass.
The Vidrala group is one of the main manufacturers of empty glass in
Europe, with manufacturing plants in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium
and England. To control the produced pallets, as well as all the
movements that take place inside the warehouse and finally the
shipping to customers, we installed a mobile application that is
shipped in the terminals that we installed in the forklift. Through
RFID antennas, the operator can read the information of each product
and after consulting with the stock DB, the system informs
you about where to locate the material.
This system, which is installed in all the plants of the group
Vidrala, has meant a great advance in the control, in the optimization
of processes and above all in the reduction of errors.
