Application to manage operation and automatic cleaning of an
industrial water filter.
We proposed to our client to automate the operation of the filter of
industrial water. Due to the dirt that water brings, it is necessary
to clean it periodically. So that an operator had to move and change
the position of the valves and wait as long as necessary until the
filter was cleaned. We replaced the manual valves by pneumatics, and
we installed a Siemens automaton to manage according to the client's
specifications and automatically the operation of the filter and its
cleaning.
We also recorded the pulses of the water meter box and our
application was integrated into the general scada of the plant.
